Who all is going to the Crossroads show this fall?

Since I live in IN, I hope to make the drive down, and look forward to seeing all of your birds. Maybe meeting some other Buckeye people for the first time. I must say, it's always hard to get an idea what personalities are like over the internet. I will count on some pleasant surprises!

And hey, I just got off the phone with eBay, and verified that we can sell Gift Certificates there that can be redeemed for chicks. Whoot! Before I thought all I could do was sell hatching eggs there (which I am not selling this year), now, with their blessing, I can find a way to market chicks through eBay too. Love that. The more Buckeyes we can get out into the hands of breeders, the happier I am! Let's see if we can move them off the ALBC Threatened list and onto the Watch list. That's my goal...

Long story....Ordered barred hollands in Jan. from Duane Urch. Maximum on the hollands was 10 to 12, but had to order 25 chicks at a time. So I requested buckeye LF and/or bantam to finish out the order, got a call saying they'd be shipped in Feb. 2nd wk of March I called to check on order he said hens were'nt laying, didn't look like I could get my order he could refund my money. I said Hang on to it, I let you know what else I wanted. Then I forgot about it.

Monday night when I got home there was a message on my answering machine that my chicks had shipped!

Today I received 19 barred Hollands and 8 buckeye chicks!
