Buckeye Chicken Breeders

I finally have buckeye eggs in the incubator. The buckeye group page on that forum we aren't allowed to mention is growing like crazy. The American Buckeye Club is doing great things for the breed. I expect to be seeing a lot of proper colored buckeyes with great type across the nation in the near future thanks to the efforts of members of the ABC.

How many people on byc have buckeyes?  How many would like to get some this spring?  Who would just like more info on the breed?

I would be interested about more info on them and possibly want some to replace my meat birds after slaughter. Are they a dp bird? I live in southern Ohio and would be proud to have a local breed. May even try to show later this year if I find the right breeders.
