My husband needs to move the large wire crate from 2nd floor of our house to our coop at other end of yard through 10" of snow. ..prompting the remark: "Uhhhh, how bout we wait until the weekend?'

Jezebel returned to the coop after a long, soulful chat with the dog. She's back on the roost tonight.

Jezebel was unable to get down from the roost and thus I realized she's definitely blind in that eye. However, she did well in a 4.5' sq gated area in the coop, set up as it was in the kitchen, with her cardboard box bed... So that is her new digs. She seems happy, actually, surrounded by her flock as they mill around her, but safe, with her own area.
