Dave has awsome birds!!!!

I was there last fall and picked up 6 juveniles and 2 hens....love them all.

I just found this thread Im ganna have to sweet talk my hubby again...LOL Eggs in the bator would be nice!

Well, I am new here---just getting that desire to learn about and eventually get me some chickens

. I am very, very interested in heritage breeds---I had already read about the buckeyes and that they are the only heritage breed developed by a woman. Anyhooo----I found this thread and I think it is just too cool what you are doing, Dave, to help spread the buckeye love around. If this is even a small respresentation of what it's like here on BYC, then I am so happy I joined. Best wishes to all you who are hatching out the next generation. Maybe at some point I will join you too!!

PS Are people from the Wolverine state allowed to raise Buckeyes
