The chicken in the front is definitely a female Buckeye.
The one in the back is female, but could be either a hatchery RIR or a Buckeye with a single comb. I have had single combs hatch from my old LF Buckeye line.

So, correct me if i'm wrong, but some Buckeyes can have single combs without being crossbred with something else (like a RIR)?

Yeah, in poorly managed lines single combs can pop up.

I am not sure since I am new to this breed. They really do look similar to each other.
