I am so sorry, and wasn't just a chicken, he was a sweet little animal, this story is so sad I am crying, and I crossed my fingers as I read each post, hoping for a miracle, but in truth, every life is a miracle, that means he was. I hope your "friend gets to message and gives a great "sorry" but you should not have had to suffer for her. you have plenty of fiends here on BYC.

I am sorry for your loss. We lost our beloved Mildred to marauding neighbor dogs over the weekend. It was a bad weekend I guess.

I am sorry you lost Mildred. I am always prepared for loss from hawks/fox/weasel, etc. but to have someone elses dog come one your property and do it really kills me.
Thanks everyone for their kind words. he is now buried with all my other beloved pets.

Oh......and still no phone call/email for an apology of any sort........ I am done with this "friendship".

I have a neighbor that has JRT's. They don't run loose, but they seem way too hyper and aggressive. If she tries to walk one on a leash, she ends up carrying it home because it it going crazy wanting to chase/attack everything. Thankfully, she does contain the little beasts in her yard.
