Buckskin Bracelets- Need Thoughts/Ideas?

Hi folks, I'm in the process of making some buckskin bracelets and I would really like to take a few of them an lightly burn some designs onto them (I've made one personally that had deer tracks on them) but I'd really love some opinions.

Think of it this way- if you could get any design (excluding names) on a buckskin bracelet for free, what would you look for? A few ideas would be great! I can get quite a good deal of them from one piece of buckskin so I would love to just make a variety of them. Thanks for any input!

Chicks or ducks or turkeys. A forest scene. Ocean waves. Other animal tracks.

I'd love to see pics when you're done.

Personally, I'd want one with Hubby's name (he passed last year) between the waves of the Pacific Ocean (he loved so dearly).

I'll be happy to add photos once done, thanks! I don't know if we'll end up listing on Etsy or just taking to local craft show in October but I'd love to work on some during rainy day downtime.

It's been awhile since I've burned on leather so it's rough, but here's the first one as I try to figure out the best tips to use and get to drawing designs on there. The fox turned out a bit rough but I know what smaller size to go to now. Also threw in photos of the Christmas stocking, baby stocking, and coin purse!

@Mylied - Thanks so much! I think I'm going to also try painting some designs on them too. We'll see where it goes! I think I'll try the forest scene you suggested next

Might try painting some instead now as the burning just seems to shrink the buckskin and isn't working out the best, so this one was burned then traced over with an extra fine tip permanent marker to help outline it better.

Thats such a cool hobby! BTW i used to soap carve, loved it, but eventually moved on .
