The third baby is scheduled to hatch now! I'll update yall in a couple of hours!

WOOP! Lemon is the mother of 3 children now!! It's name is লেবু pronounced Lebu. So that means I'll have to change the name of the first baby. So the first one is.... JAMBURA! It's an extremely sour fruit and the word 'bura' alone in Bangla means old, since that bird hatched first, I'll name it Jambura!
So the lineup now contains - Jambura, Komla and Lebu!

Bad news. Didn't hatch yet. Not even a pip on the eggshell. Weird because all the other siblings hatched out routinely at 7pm. Now its 8pm on the hatch day and it still didn't hatch. The first egg and the last egg have a greater chance of being infertile. Maybe that's what's going on. Let's see. I'll keep yall updated

Soo the fourth egg hatched 3 days later and died yesterday. Gastro-intestinal issues I believe. Sad. But it's better it died early and didn't have to endure pain (or force me to euthanize it because I do not possess the guts to do it). But, on the flip side, Jambura Komla and Lebu are THRIIIVING! Jambura and Komla's eyes opened too. Lemon goes absolutely NUTS when I try to take a pic of her children so still, I have no pics. I'll try to lure her out by coriander tomorrow and try again. Also, the dad is now named Kamranga (means Starfruit in Bangla). Kamranga is a citrus fruit, so is Lemon (and Lebu) and Komla and Jambura. So we got a citrus family here! Also I'm taking advantage of Kamranga's constant need to feed his children and taming him! He doesn't even notice when I take him out of his cage. He stays put eating the coriander from my hands (sitting on my fingers!!) and when he's done, he goes straight back to feed Lemon! ADOWABLE. And that's it for now!
