Why do you breed budgies? Do you have multiple pairs? Just curious, and I love budgies

I originally got 2 males and then a female. The other 10 were hatched by my original female. I rehomed one clutch. And I’ve lost several babies to the females fighting over nests. I didn’t really intentionally breed them but just give them the space to do their own thing. I keep hoping to get yellow/turquoise like my original male but keep getting blue, white, and gray.

Mine aren't! I just couldn't find a Light Green Clearflight Pied Opaline Male budgie on the internet so I just put the CLOSEST one here! I did have them but that was years ago!
