Budgies!

Pics
I had two when I was a wee bebe child. They made me super duper sick all the time so my mother released them in the backyard. She told me they opened the cage and got out.
I get wheezy and can't breathe if im to close to bird dust...that goes for any bird but really bad for budgies not so much chickens though. I use to breed but think im gonna retire from it kinda just isnt fun anymore. Might breed in a few years but i have way to many now to consider breeding more. So im done for now lol im more focused on my chicken projects these days

All the high-dander producing species do me like that. Cockatoos, African Greys, Cockatiels, and the Australian Budgie are the worst. Species that bathe more regularly, don't seem to bother me as bad.

I’ve read cockatiels have a special dust but I didn’t think budgies did? I’m allergic to a lot of things but oddly not my birds hahah although mine do bathe a lot.

I'm sure there are a lot of people that would not agree with that, which is totally fine. Obviously, my opinion on budgies is just an opinion. True English budgies are also much harder to breed than the American vermin commonly sold in pet stores, also.
I prefer Australian budgies over English budgies. I just think they look nicer, plus English budgies don't live as long.

They don't have the stupid fat faces though! lol
One of mine does aha he’s bigger and fatter like the English although not quite as fat. The other is more the American/wild look. She’s also not as friendly. The big one is extremely nice.
