I went out of town the other day and forgot to cover the cage, so I believe one of the cats somehow managed to pull out his tail feathers. They've grown back now, but the tail is still a bit funny looking.I keep the cage partially covered during the day, to keep the bird out of direct view of the cats and because it's still a bit chilly in the house (not cold, but not warm).
