Welcome to BYC! I'd say to reduce your rooster number to 1. Once they get a little older they will start fighting with each other alot. I actually have 5 silkie roosters out of 8 that I bought from Ideal Poultry this past spring. And when the hens start to lay eggs, and the roosters start to mate, the roosters will fight over the girls. It will be alot more peaceful with just one rooster in your flock. You can also try to sell the ones you don't want on Craigslist.

Hello, I purchase a 10 pack of Buff Brama chicks 3 1/2 months ago. I ended up with 5 roosters out of the 10. I am new to raising chickens. Do I need to reduce the number of roosters for the flock? Is there a forum to do trades?

Hi, I am new to BYC as well. I have recently discovered one of my Hens is a He ! He is a leghorn and I don't want to breed him. I am interested in a Buff Brahma. Where are you located ? Would you be interested in trading ?
