Hi everyone, I got some buff barred cochin chicks a few weeks ago from birds out of County Boy's, and I love them! I was wondering if anyone has any eggs they're selling because I'd love to have more. I'll have to post pictures of mine; the little cockerel is so pretty.
I set every egg my pens lay. I am hatching as many as I can so I can see what I am doing wrong. LOL
One of my boys growing up. I think I will call him Bullion.
And here is my A-Game and Apollo. The one in front is just a buff cockerel, no barring.
These are the only barred boys I have growing up except for the many I got from Dougie, my buff roo over the beautiful Barbra. And those I have in abundance! Beautiful but gosh, I have no girls to sell with them so I am tickled when people want to buy them without a hen.
I got her from a Lady in Washington state that also had blue Orpingtons, which is what I focus on right now as far as poultry breeding programs...but I hope to have a huge flock of Cochins someday! I love both of your projects! I aslo own a trio of Millie Fleur Bantam Cochins, but that's for a different thread!
I'm new to this thread and I'm loving these lemon blue and buff barred cochins! Do they only come in bantam or are there LF available and if so does anyone know a breeder?
