Buff Dewlap Toulouse Thread

Yeah Marty, we are 2 weeks ahead of schedule over last year, sorta caught me off guard too. Hope baby girl finds a food she cant resist this weekend now that her pain will be managed again.

Lydia, I like goose sounds before, but Babys sounds especially beautiful. Its only at about 20% wonk power, but I think it will come.

Lucky is able to stand briefly. I saw her stand, and hold herself with feather tips, but only for a few moments. I'm sure this will improve, as her appetite has improved a lot, and she's generally more vocal now too.

She's clearly trying the limbs out though.

Yay for Baby and Lucky!!!! Love the 20% wonk power comment.

How are Sprits wonks doing? Oh, reminds me. I wanted to tell you, you remember how your africans started waiting for the goslings you had before the toulouse hatches, and honked at them? My pens are South and West, all the way up to my house. Right now, outside the bathroom window, are several geese talking to Baby when she wonks. And whe she doesn't. They've heard her this morning during her spare vocal excercises I think, and there is a gaggle outside the window, and about 6 feet down. They are definately encouraging her to vocalize. After a week of quiet, its nice to know that with the wad in her throat/head is gone, and she can express her feelings, frustrations, and joy at seeing me.

As far as ganders go, Spirit wonks very little. LOL Ember, on the other hand, likes to call out to the group at daybreak every morning for reassurance that they are there, and they always respond. I am thrilled that Baby is doing better today!!! I can only imagine how hearing/watching her recover is making your heart melt.
