Here's hoping they start laying for you soon! What kind of chicken eggs do ya have cook'in?
I've got two sebbie eggs, but the toulouse and the africans are holding out still. Just as well, I don't need another several males after me in a most unfriendly way.

Squishy's the worst here... expecially for only being a yearling...... he's been picked up twice this week

We have one gander in the sebbie side who is naughty. We turned their house so he has to make a real effort to get to the backside when I am looking for eggs. It has settled him down since he prefers to hiss at me through the front wall which is wire. Our new buff gander hisses at me from his stall every time I go in to check on him and his mate.
My Sebastopols, and Seb Projects never hiss at momma...except Trouble!

However, the American Buffs always hiss at me. The goofs!

Aspen,
We have Icelantics due the first part of March and Buckeye chickens due the 24th of Feb. cooking.

Poor Squishy got to flusterated today that he bit me for not letting him down. We were getting tested so he got held awhile.

Our Blue smooth gander Berrie since breeding has begun when I open the pen door he comes out at me bitting little brat!! So I have a cane to walk with and he has a bout with it every morning. He loses everytime you think the goofy gander would learn. I do not pop him too hard with it. Do not want to hurt him. I can not pick him up to hold him due to my bad back and right knee. Can not fall down my bones are so fragile from Ostio arthritis and dialysis. I have fell down when the geese have faught with me. So Miss clumsy here has to flap her wings and use my cane to show them I am bigger than they are and top goose!!

Barb, sorry you are having to deal with a ill tempered gander. I was washing dishes a minute ago and heard a bunch of commotion coming from the goose barn...I ran outside to find Caspian and Charlie fighting through the fence. Caspian had Charlies head and was beating the crud out of him. *sigh*. Dump boys!

Barb You becareful out there

There are somethings I dont like about breeding season... BOYS

LOL! The sebbie boys are on the ball for sure here, and yesterday a buff boy hissed at me. I was like, OK hope they lay soon. I'm kinda thinking and wondering from the looks of things if my three healthy buff toulouse are a trio, only one seems hissy fitty, and the other two are more passive.

thee only Hissy male I have is Squishy... Napoleon has been seen doing his bit but he's not worried about us (yet). the sebbies are new enough I thing we shook them up a bit and the new dewlaps have not showed an interest yet.
