Everyone is doing very well :D I am so happy with the integration. I heard Walter honk this weekend, and he has nothing on Winston's honk. Winston is LOUD. lol

I have finished my chicken breeding pens and am having trouble writing even this because I'm so sore. At least it's over with. Everyone is separated who needs to be separated. Come on spring!! Only 3 more months until grass! lol

Oh and thanks everyone for all the compliments on Walter!!!

We just had a terrible blizzard. Waist high drifts. :| Was no fun at all to snow blow on top of all that other work!

I was about to pick on you for the blizzard and no grass, but it so doesnt matter now. Again so so sorry for what you are having to deal with. Not fair at all.

Marty, congrats on the egg!

Everyone one here is laying
three breeds of geese (American, Dewlaps, Sebastopols)
four breeds of duck (Khaki Campbells, Ancona, Silver Appleyards, French White Scovy)
and all the chickens (minus the newest breed additions)

Well, Its still too chilly here for everyone to have given in to their egg laying just yet. I'm happy for you that all yours are in high gear. I suppose the geese still lay the same amount, regardless of start date. It's probobly to your advantage to have such early eggs, your ahead of the market. It's like native peaches, everyone is anxious for the earliest ones that are ready.

I am just glad they dont all start laying at the same time. We are maxed out again on bator space, so have a new custom 5 drawer cabinet almost done being made. It "should" give us the space we need lol. i dont think the early laying is an advantage since its too cold to ship to most places when we have first hatches, but thats ok too cause i will take the year round grass over snow any day.

Hello, I have not posted on BYC so am a bit of a newbie. I have Buff Dewlap Toulouse and am in my second year of breeding my "fluffy butts". I love them! I would post a couple of pictures but seem to be blocked or not doing it right. Any suggestions?
