Oh, Marty I am so sorry to read about your losses. I was so busy this weekend I never checked BYC till tonight, so I'm a little behind everybody else in finding this out. It was devastating to read about, and I can only imagine how horrible it must have been for you and your family. Everybody has offered good advice in helping you find the owners of these dogs. I wish you all the luck, there. It looked like they had collars in the picture, so were there tags? If they have rabies tags the name of the vet should be on them so you can find out who owns them that way. My mom's dog got lost once (he ran off in panic during a thunderstorm), and the people who found him called the vet on his rabies tag, and the vet called Mom.

I don't have any ducks to offer you, but if there is anything I can do please let me know. In the meantime, I will be thinking of you and your birds, and praying that those you have left make a full recovery.

Hi everyone. The buff in with baby girl has jumped the dividing fence (only 18") and is in with the either geese now. I take that as a good sign. Baby girl and Lucky the giant pekin are still hanging out. Baby girl has ucky green poo all around her rear feathers. I assume this has something to do with antibiotics and not eating. Any thoughts? She has tonights meds still, then her course of them is over. Shes still not standing.

plain yogurt for good pro-bios will help her insides settle down. If she isn't standing the poo has no where to go but on her some. I would keep offering various foods until you find one she finds irresistible. Haven't found one yet who doesn't dive on wet food. Try soaking some over night and then giving it to her.

Excellent news on the one buff feeling better! As for the other one, have you tried offering hand-picked grass or hay? I have found that my guys will nibble at grass when they are feeling bad and are otherwise not interested in their grain or treats.
