Our girl thinks all birds who fly in, through, over and or attempt to land should die. The older male is tolerant of the spoonbills and mallards. He doesnt like the storks at all and chases the buzzards and hawks like crazy. The youngest sits and watches the birds and is picking up who needs ran off and who is ok to allow to land.

So it's something that comes in time I guess.

I wish she had a parent to show her like your young guy does. :/ That sucks about your female thinking they all should die :th

its just how the female is, if it isnt an animal we introduce to her as our she deems it not to live or be permitted here lol. She is hubby's service dog for when he is having bad days physically and does very well at that job.

Yes it comes with time. Raising one is much easier than two at one time.

If you have a really good older LGD, doesn't raising a new pup make it much easier?

How do you introduce.. I'm curious because we recently acquired two rabbits that are free run as well. She sees these as toys or something, but her reaction is not one I like.

Marty, how are Baby and Lucky this morning? Look forward to hearing how things go with prosecutor and police office.

Quote: Yep having one who is 3 or 4 years old to help train the younger makes life easier. We raised the first two together and they were 30 days apart in age. Like having human kid twins I tell you, Your girl will get better and easier to work with. Just keep reminding yourself she is a puppy (even though she is huge already). We saw a huge difference from 1 to 2, and now they are 3 and are a pleasure to work with. It DOES get better lol.

That' very relieving

She is like a toddler at this point. She's actually 9 months, not 10. She'll be 10 months old in two weeks. :fl for her to actually listen when called. That will be a day to celebrate!

she may never really listen, LOL, independent things that they are. She should mind though, be able to be worked with not fought against. give her 6 months and you will see huge changes again. at around around 1 both of our oldest went through a chewing phase. 2x4's were his favorite items.

They do like to chew on wooden things.. and dig.. She likes to take dirt baths as much as any chicken.

She weighs her options many times when we ask something of her. Smart and stubborn girl she is.
