She is beautiful, looks a lot like our Luna (will get a new picture of her today). I remember those dopey puppy days with the ears up and full of trouble. Our girl will not bark or growl to give warning, she goes from fun loving to kill mode with the snap of a finger on her own and can be on something in a blink of an eye.

Rabbits here stay in cages, we have a doxie who would kill them. The big dogs sniff them with no interest NOW, at 1 and half years old and younger they acted like they were interactive squeaky toys.

I'd love to see Luna. The two sound very similar. :p Clementine's parents were perfect. I was in love with her father especially. He was so calm and laid back. So was she before we got her home lol. Her Dad is a Maremma and Clem's mom is a Great Pyr. She was born with sheep all around her. I think she'd work very well with sheep. I'm considering getting a larger livestock animal, and was told sheep's milk is quite good. I think sheep would be far less destructive than goats. I did want Alpacas, but I think sheep may be easier to raise.

My rabbits usually don't go far from their pen. My two small dogs don't mind them a bit. Clem looks very interested and acts like they are interactive squeak toys like you are describing.

Sheep graze where goat browse (think shrubs, small trees, roughage). I would love a couple babydoll sheep down the road. Hubby would love them too on the grill, and in stew.

I'm am pleased to report that as ever there is small progress. Today, there are NO BUBBLES in Baby Girls eyes! And, I do not audibly hear her struggling to breath. I did try Celtics way of holding her down, and it turns out it was easier to open her mouth back at that angle, so she got the full dose of antibiotics. Lucky is wiggling a foot around (still back behind her) but I take that twitch to mean her muscles are coming on line again. Since its gonna be a bonny day, I'm going to go put them out to swim and sit in the sun under the watchful eyes of the two girls and the big dog of ours. He's never shown any interest in the birds yet, except he's worked out how to help get them into the barn. :D

Oh, and somebody is nibbling from the dinner bowl.
