Go Baby! Hopefully with her excellent care her and Lucky are receiving they will be at 100% wonk power in no time.

Baby Girl update:

Still at 20% Wonk.

Also, we're EATING FOOD!!!! Not loads, but more than a mouth full of lettuce. I saw her take at least 3 mouthfulls out of the dinner bowl of actual dry prepared food! She's mostly clear eyes, not perfect, but not near so bad. She's drinking, and is moving herself from one end of the tub/hospital to the other. In fact, she spent some time running over Lucky today.


Lucky is really trying to stand. She can't do it properly, but she gets herself up so high she falls over sometimes. Julia says shes standing like people. Good thing she's self righting now too. She's eating and drinking, and is at about 50% quack. I truly expect her to be up and around in the next few days.

excellent news Marty!

As I said yesterday, pain is a debilitating thing, lucky for her the vet gave you more pain meds for her. I bet that combined with the scab/blockage being removed have made a world of difference for her. Hopefully by Monday she will be goggling up the dry food and Lucky will be mobile again.

time to turn in, we framed up and built all of the walls for the goats new loafing shed today and I am tired.
