buff newly hatched

Does anyone know why a new hatched Buff orpington has a crown already? Roo? Can't find any newly hatched pics of buffs and label hen or roo.

ok you only have two Orpingtons here? I guess on mine it looks bigger as they aren't all dry yet

Can you post a pic?
Once they fluff up it won't be as noticeable. It might be a little boy, but you won't know for sure until they're around 8 weeks old.

I can post a pic once it comes out of the lockdown...he's almost dry...have two more that hatched and one on the way...
