Buff Orp Roo with black feathers?

My buff orpington roo has feathers on his tail that are half black. He is nine months old, and i got him from mcmurray hatchery.

Typical of hatchery birds to have faults. Black tail feathers are not good, especially on the roo because he'll pass that on to every offspring if used for breeding. If he's just a pet and a good boy, enjoy him.
