Buff Orphington Roos? Are they quiet?

I have one (13 weeks), and I have only heard/seen him crow once. That was last week. Thats it, no more... Are they normally quiet? Or will he pick up as he gets older?

I have one about 20 weeks old and doesnt make a peep, no pun intended. But I think it depends more on the individual bird and not the breed.

I have a Orp Roo and he is around 8 1/2 weeks and he crowed twice this morning. He also crowed once before. Mind he isn't very loud. It was a strange strangled sort of sound.
