I have a flock of 7 hens, 1 rooster. Of them I have 4 buffs. One of them is what I can only assume is being broody - won't leave the nesting box. So I looked up how to break that and have her in "chicken jail" separated from the others. I brought her back to the coop to socialize today and eat/drink but she walked around all puffed up. Is that normal? It's summer so she's not cold and otherwise seems fine (no injuries).
