Can ANYONE help me please? I have a 4 month old Buff Orpington that can't walk or stand. 7 days ago, I noticed that her right wing was hanging pretty low. Later that day she was still walking, but was now tripping over it. I took her to the vet and he said she had a sprained, not broken wing and gave me an anti inflamatory for a few days.
The next morning she couldn't stand or walk at all!!!!!!! I took her back to the vet and he said that he could rule out Marek's and put her on an antibiotic, which I've been giving her twice a day for 6 days now. She's eating and drinking and seems strong. She desperately wants to walk and I've been trying to push her to do so by holding her up and such to support her, but she's not getting better.
I'm taking her back to the vet tomorrow, but I need to know if ANYONE has ANY CLUE here. I keep reading about this same issue, but no one seems to know what it is besides MAREK'S OR LICE. I've checked for lice and she's extremely clean...no lice.
ANYONE? What about feeding her eggs, yogurt, maybe even Poly Vi Sol? PLEASE HELP!!!!
