Buff Orpington color question...

My hens are hatchery stock. Not show stock. Some have a few black feathers and light black speckling in their tail. Is this normal? I guess it would be a defect in show stock but is fine in layers?

One of my hatchery BO had some black speckling in her tail. I'm far from expert, but pretty sure that's only important if ya want a show chicken. She lays only extra large eggs.

It would be disqualification in a show, but if won't affect her lay rate. Enjoy those eggs. )
