At 5 months, one of my BO pullets is SUDDENLY bigger than a puppy, darker golden, thick legs, and bigger waddles. Can someone confirm she is a he for me? NO crowing but no eggs either. First timer here and need to know if ( he) needs to go!

It was so odd - this chicken just grew so huge all of a sudden. Are they late bloomers? They are already 20 weeks and I identified the other roosters much earlier.
Thanks, all, for your help. I don't want to loss a big ole hen but if she is a he, then he has gotta move on down the road.

I have several other breeds of the same age and none are laying yet. :( Makes it more difficult.

While the cage shot is not the best for showing the feathering, the feathers that are visible are male feathers - look across the back and side of the bird, see how it appears "hairy" almost, in that the feathers are long and sweeping down?

Not disagreeing, just trying to learn, but I would have though the tail feathers would be longer by now? Or are those droopier tail feathers the start of rooster tail feathers? And now that you mention it, I do see the rooster type saddle feathers.

My roo found a great home! Thanks to all who helped me.
