So one week I ordered 4 Buff Orpingtons... supposed to be all hens. The next week I ordered a Buff Orpington rooster. Well, Here's a picture of the orpingtons that are 3 1/2 weeks old...

And here's a picture of the "rooster" that is 2 1/2 weeks old... and is almost as well feathered as the 3 1/2 week old hens!

SO I'm slightly confused about what is what. Any help will be appreciated. :-)

Its hard to tell at this age. I have been raising orpingtons for two years now. I have eight and all are hens. Orpingtons can get huge. One of my hens (the one in my profile pic) is HUGE. Intact, I've had people mistaken her for a roo. She even has the huge waddles and comb. Orpingtons are hard to sex at this age. Best to wait and see. He seems to be at a healthy and normal size for a orpington. I wonder what hatchery you ordered from... I know McMurray is great at sexing. They never got our chicks sexes wrong.

Not sure if I said this, but I have FIVE orpingtons, three I am 99% sure they are females, two I am not sure. I have four that are 4 1/2 weeks old, and one that is 3 1/2 weeks old. Can you tell me what gender the two "??" ones are? Here's some pics....

I'm sorry but these 2 sure look like Roos to me. . . :hide They both seem to have way too much comb for their ages to be pullets, in my opinion. With the older one having quite a bit of pink going on in its comb. Also these two seem to have more blockier heads compared to the others. But again that's just my opinion and I'm no expert.
