Buff Orpington Hen or Roo?

It’s definitely a hen,combs don’t matyer,if she was a He it would be bigger and already obviously like a rooster and probably mating and crowing right about now.

The reason her comb is big is probably because she is the most dominant,and because she is most ready to lay,likely her sisters aren’t.
Maybe, but they are still too young to lay. Remember they are only sixteen weeks, so maybe in another month or two
 
That’s not too young,it’s rare but it’s not young,and are you sure lol,they look much more mature then that!
I guess buffs do that,I have three young pullets.

I just checked my calendar and it turns out they are actually almost 18 weeks, sorry about that! Buffs do get pretty big though, all of mine are already just as big as my other hens!
 
I recently got three so I’m wondering how big they will get as my last two were small and fat and as I have seen that’s quite abnormal for them.
