This is my almost 5 week old buff Orpington (4 weeks 4 days). I was content thinking she was a pullet until I noticed her comb starting to slightly turn light pink. Is this coloring normal? It is not as bright as my other chick that is a suspected roo. Are your thoughts pullet or cockerel on this chick? Thanks!! :)

Definitely not an Orp. Also, girl.

It's a bit young yet, give it another week or two. It isn't a buff Orpington. It's either a Rhode island red, or other red production type.

omg no way!! do you have pics of a buff around this age for comparison? This was her as a chick, she was so much lighter than my New Hampshire red. This is a plot twist lol she’s so friendly!!
