Buff Orpington puzzler

I was told that this bird is a pullet when I bought her, however, the way the legs are getting so long and heavy and the way the bird moves makes me think cockerel. Its tail feathers were pecked off when I got her/him and are now growing out. As I don't have another orpington to compare to, does anyone care to express an opinion for me? I hope the pix are good enough to get a good view.

I say roo on tntapners.
And
chickmagnet's is a good looking layer with a big red comb.
