*Buff Orpington Thread!*

Don't worry it is an exciting time, they'll lay soon. Just be sure they aren't hiding the eggs, I have one that wouldn't lay in her nest box found her own spot. Which, is fine with me as long as I know where it is. Good luck keep us posted.

Here are my three Buffs. I finally got hem during scratch time. Pretty sure two of them are hens the third one though gives me the roo stare.

HELP!!! I am new to BYC and this is my first thread. Recently, I inherited my neighbors BO (Evelyn) she has been broody for almost 5-6 weeks!! I also bought an olive egger (Ingrid) she is a cross between a FBCM and an ameracauna. She is at the point of laying and should lay anyday now. Evelyn is finally not broody anymore as well. So I went into the coop today to see if there were any olive eggs from Ingrid. And low and behold... I found a small brown egg???

Could this be my BOs? Do they normally lay smaller eggs after being broody for such a long time? Or can my olive egger really be laying light brown eggs?
