Yes I can...my brood will eat about anything that doesn't eat them first...!

Woe be unto the wayward mouse that wanders into the run...they will make short work of it. I have also seen them eat small snakes. I think chickens eat about anything they want and if something is bad for them they seem to instinctively know to avoid it.
Holy smokes!!! SMALL SNAKES???? That's CRAZY!!! The only strange thing one of my birds have eaten is the head of a dead mouse that my cat had caught and left in the yard. We had to chase her for a good 1/2 an hr.!!! It was so gross!!! We're gonna get two more cats since my cat died (she was 13 yrs. old, don't feel sad,) because we have a serious mouse problem, and we don't want any more incidents like that!!!

Good luck with the cats...I use rat poison strategically placed around the barn and out buildings...it works pretty good at controlling the rat population.

I have so many English buff Orpington pullets from my pair of orps and I can't wait til they begin layin!!
I have 3 pullets that are about 5-6 months old(getting redder combs and I'm happy about that!)
1 pullet that's about 4-5 months old and not to pick favorites(but she's my favorite lol) she has rich beautiful buff coloring and I'm loving her size already!
And last but not least 5 pullets that are about 3 months old and are already so beautiful and have big fluffy skirts and butts already!!

I have pics of all of my pullets but can't seem to be able to upload any at the moment for some reason! But I will when my phone lets me!

Or you can see them in my "Exhibition English Buff Orpington" album if you'd like to https://m.facebook.com/P-G-rabbitry-n-poultry-1089886297732717/
