I feel like the pied piper of chickens. No matter when or where I go outside my buffs are right behind me. Every evening when I go to feed the horses they follow me from stall to stall always chattering. If they get waylaid along the way and I get ahead of them they run like crazy to catch up with me. Is this common behavior for the buffs only or are there other breeds that are like this. I have several that want to sit on my lap or on my shoulder and sometimes it gets really crowded. I have one that wants to be held all the time. As I have said in the past, I've had chickens before but none like the buffs. Absolutely adore these birds - so sweet, so personable, so friendly and the list could go on.
