This one still worries me. It's the smallest one, but has really thick legs and this headgear going on:
Yeah my first clue when I have a boy is how fast and how read his comb and wattles turn compared to the rest of the flock... I am far from an expert but I would guess this is not a female.
 


Here is Miss Lucy, at 8.5 weeks old. Enjoying the chicken yard thoroughly. She is still friendly as ever, quietly waiting for her turn to be held. And she is a stealth worm catcher.

My Lucy loves to hunt worms, most of my run is covered by a roof, but I have a small section "exposed to the elements", I turn it with a pitchfork about every week or so, she rides the pitchfork so she can get "first look" at what is being turned over (worms).
