My two hatchery buffs are fantastic layers. My English orps lay smaller eggs and less often, but that is ok with me since they are such eye candy! Here is my son with his favorite chicken--hatchery buff orp: Daisy.
Here's a pic of my Mama BO with the chicks she hatched yesterday. She's our first broody and I'm so excited for how well she did. The baby daddy is a blue silkie so I can't wait to see what they look like all grown up!

These are my girls, taking a break after watching, oops I mean supervising, me all morning.
I LOVE my Buffs, these girls are 7 now, and adjusting to the new invaders. I have two more baby buffs, an EE and a Black Australorp, getting two SS Friday. they go out in a closed off area in the middle of the run.
We moved last September and they have so much more room now, they are really good with the chicken fencing, the electric stuff.
