Yes they are, my hens lay those a lot.

Yes they are. They don't harm anything and the eggs are perfectly safe to eat.

Thanks. I've had the odd little calcium spots here and there but this was the biggest one by far so wasn't sure.

One of my little dinosaurs found a dead mouse in the garden. As soon as the other hen found out she spent a good 4-5 minutes running after her to grab a piece of it. Was the funniest thing I ever saw them do

Can't wait till next week. My flock of 2 will be growing to 4. A Sussex and a black rock joining us.

Hello! I just bought a farm and of course immediately got some chicks. I have 15 total, 3 of which are Buff Orpingtons. Here they are with one of the Golden Laced Wyandottes. The Buffs are named Kara, Cassidy, and Brooke, though I don't know which is which yet since I can't tell them apart. I have ordered some chick leg bands to help me out. The Wyandotte in the picture is Eleanor, and I only know which one she is because she is the friendliest of all the chicks so far
