*Buff Orpington Thread!*

I acquired these 3 through a friend, they were bought at TSC a few weeks ago (she had more then she could handle). She had no clue what breed they are other than they are supposed to be pullets. Are they possibly buff Orpington chicks?

Thanks for your input.

They look an awful lot like em to me...

Thanks, that's what the clerk at TSC thought they could be but she wasn't 100%, she didn't deal with the chicks. Do you know how big they might get being they came from TSC. I'm not familiar with this breed. I'm used to bantams (Showgirls and Cochin),8 total. I bought RIR, Amberlink, Red Sexlink, and ASI Brown chicks from TSC back in March, 16 total. Plus I also took in 6 black Australorps and 2 ducks from same person, with the possibility of her asking me to take the rest in a few months (8 chicks and 6 ducks). Thank goodness I have several coops with runs.

Buffs are medium sized chickens, I have all sizes in my 9 buff girls, Mohawk being the biggest and cluck the smallest (probably close to silkie size) you can see them here

I put up a video of my buffs bathing, I think they're so cute, I can't imagine getting a different breed in the future, but when I visit the store I want any and all of them LOL here's the video if you want to see its spring so they are a bit scraggly and roo is going through a light molt

Hi, I reposted following photo on sex recognition thread but a second oppinion from buff orp experts can't hurt :)
11 weeks old, supposed to be a pair, one had conspicuous redder crown than the other when I got them three weeks ago, but now I can't tell for sure if they're a pair or both cockerels. Any ideas? (Click for larger photo)
