My best layer punky an orpington is having soft shell problems today it was a broken shell still hanging from her vent which I had to take out, her vent looks clean and she sat in lukewarm water and she is eating a bit treats mostly and drinking water but she won't eat much feed or oyster shells
I never thought I'd do this but I will try the shell of a boiled egg for calcium to see if she'll eat that I also will put her in isolation during the day so her rooster can't mate her
She won't be alone just kept separate by a little fence I hope this will work and she'll get better soon
That just means you need to add some BOs to your flock! You know, just do the chicken math.Oh well sorry wrong place i like all the pics on here
I am new to this breed! Can anyone tell me what to look for when sexing a 9 week buff?
Boys should have larger more pink colored combs than the pullets at that age.I am new to this breed! Can anyone tell me what to look for when sexing a 9 week buff?
