*Buff Orpington Thread!*

Yesterday we had to put down my cute little super brooder. View attachment 1062195
What makes it worse is that I'm away 3000km away :(.

I thought the other chickens would've noticed but apparently they go on like nothing's happened lol.

I'm sorry! What happened? And yes I noticed that they shy away from the deceased but otherwise feel unaffected I suppose it's passed down to them to lose family as a part of life, though I noticed a reaction when I mentioned Rosa to them, they all know their names

My pretty ladies

Hi! I bought 4 unsexed buff Orpingtons this spring hoping to get at least one layer. We already gave away one about a month ago that was obviously a rooster, now due to space I need to decide who to keep. They are 15 weeks old now. I just posted them in another forum here and its been suggested that all 3 that are left are roosters too! I'm so sad! I just thought I'd ask a second opinion before I rehome them. We have 11 chickens and these 3 are by far the friendliest. My kids love them and have trained them to come when called. None of them have crowed yet, they all just cluck.

They look like roosters to me, but I could be wrong.
