There is a what I believe could be a wild or abandoned chicken in my city but I don’t know what breed it is, these are screenshots taken from a video so they may be blurry. I would like to take her in but I’m afraid she might have pests that could transfer to my girls (I don’t really know how that would work but I’m just overthinking).How should I go about this? EDIT: Turns out it was someone’s chickens who just likes to wander 😂

Yes she is a BO, and no they aren’t wild 😁
 
You would need to quarantine her in a separate space, as far from your flock as possible, if you want to take her in and keep your existing flock safe. Quarantine for a month at least, keeping an eye on health and checking for parasites like mites and lice. And treating for that if she has them.

It's not that difficult if you have the set up, but it means more work since there would have to be two pens, two feeders and two water sources.
