I have 3 chicks, hatch on 3/21/12.So they are almost a month old. One is small no tail or comb to speak of, and is already turning a buff color, thus the name Goldie. The next one is a little bigger with a small tail and a comb starting to come and color. The last one is almost double the size of the smallest, has tail feathers and a lite red comb starting, it is also definitely the leader of the group and is very bossy.

The local hatchery sexed the by the wing feathers. Do I have a roo and two pullets?

Can you call the place you got them? Maybe they are white plymouth rocks? The black feather on the last one is throwing me off.

Not at all buff orps, though, sorry!

I have Buff Orpingtons hatched April 2nd and they look nothing ..ke my chicks. Hope that helps. Good luck..
