When you compare the green in the photos I bet it is just the light.
 
I'm not sure how old they are. I got them at an auction. It was hard to tell what they were because they were in 1 cage together. I thought they were 3 hens and a roo.

I just traded the bird in the first pic with a coworker. I got a black star hen in return. They definitely have pointed saddle feathers. I think they may be young roos.
 
Time will tell. My only 2 b-o's were both roosters that I gave away and asked the same questions, then they started crowing...that is the giveaway. I know its hard to just wait and see. I had to do it myself.

I see pointy saddle feathers on all three of the OPs birds, and on this more recent one pictures in the coop. Looks like a lot of roos to me.
