Buff Orpingtons....male or female?!!!

All 3 are roo's i agree with alot of these people no hen that i know of has hackle feathers that are pointed.... unless "sex" changing has occurred lol... but i doubt it this early in age .... http://feathersite.com/Poultry/BRKChange.html

Maybe because people are worried that they have roosters, and post more pics of birds in question.

all 3 roos to the OP
and that other pic is a roo as well...

they have pointed saddle feathers...

plus, the tails ar curved, and frankly, "a different color"

notice the tail color is like, almost a darker tan than the rest of the body and the feathers curve downward... also, those feathers right before the tail and on the lower back (where a saddle would go on a horse) are "pointed"... they are thinner and longer... this says "ROO"

Thanks for the help...sorry i snuck my pics in just wanted a fast answer! I guess when buying birds at auction a person needs to really look over the bird before bidding so they aren't disappointed with a mislabeled bird.

Now I am second guessing my buffs. The one I have that looks the least like a roo acts the most like one. It really will be the eggs or crows that tell. Hope you don't mind inviting a couple roos to dinner.
