Buff Orpingtons too early to sex?

I had a feeling! My other looks just like your girls. No redness at all. Plus his behavior is so different and dominating. Dang it! This cute little jerk! Lol

spread a wing on each of them. if the feathers form a round fan, it is a pullet.
if the wing form a fan with the tip feathers a bit longer than the fan feathers, rooster..
some BO hens will look very much like a rooster even when they are mature. large combs and wattles..
we have butchered such "roosters" only to find eggs in them..
at an early age, sometimes the roosters will walk very erect with their head held high..
their tail feathers come in pointing upwards. while the pullet's will stay more horizontal or even pointing downward.
none of this is 100% true.
you should always be prepared to be surprised..
