My sister makes an AMAZING dish of it, it's always a huge hit.

Definitely unusual and also one of my favorite foods!

Well, it is Greek food! We have interesting Greek stuff all the time, since we go to a Greek Orthodox parish. I don't remember if it was Christmas or Easter, but we had five different types of meat at once, including lamb. I love lamb.

* Bacon-wrapped tempura green bean bundles

We're a family of 7 and we all like to pitch in and make our own dish!! It makes the day really fun and takes the load off of Mom since it's not fair she cooks all day. My brother's family comes over and we spend the day together. We also do a lunch platter. Thanksgiving is the only holiday we celebrate (other than birthdays ofc) so it's a pretty big deal. We always get dressed up and curl our hair lol.
Here's the menu:

Lunch:
Our smoked salmon dip
Fruit
Veggie tray
Meat/cheese
Crackers
Chips
Ranch dip!


Dinner:
Turkey and duck
Mashed potatoes ofc
Sweet potato casserole
My famous cranberry sauce
Fruit salad
Pink fluff (my sister in law brought this dish the very first Thanksgiving she spent with us now it's mandatory lol)
Green bean casserole
Sparkling cider


Dessert:
Egg Nog
Pumpkin Pie
Pecan Pie
Apple pie( My sister in law hates pumpkin so she volunteered to make apple)
Blackberry pie (my oldest brother and I are making this together I'm pretty excited. He's very serious and treats baking like some sort of surgery lol. He's always gets very focused, it's fun to watch.)




We make a lot so the next day we can eat all the leftovers for lunch

Nah . It's more.....fluffy than jello-ey. It has the consistency of like miracle whip kinda with cherries and what not added in. I don't even think it has anything jello related in it. And it's not in a mold like that, it's just in a bowl.

Jello salads do not always come in molds, in fact more often the ones you see at a potluck are fluffy blobs.

Oh that actually looks kinda good. It kinda looks like that except I still don't think it has any jello in it. I feel like it's a different texture than that stuff basing off of pure looks lol.
