Here are my Buffs. We just love these big, fluffy girls. They are 22 weeks old now and we're still waiting for our first egg (tick tock, freeloaders!) ....

Yep, just came in from sitting among my "brigade". I never tired of watching them.

They are adorable aren't they? I've noticed that my 10 wk old Roo is a lot bigger than the pullets & he's a darker richer shade too. Is it normally the case that males are darker or is it just different birds different shades? It seems that the 5 pullets are all almost exactly the same shade all except for the Roo. I thought maybe this is just part of the difference in the sexes of this breed?

Here is my buff her name is Dolly she is about 7 weeks old. She loves to be held and follows me everywhere. She is very funny. She loves to talk to me with her little peeping voice and loves to snuggle. If you drop something on the ground her size like a screw or piece of paper etc. she runs with it like she is playing football, and fusses when you try to get it back. I love her so much. I am expecting 6 more by November 1rst. Can't wait.
