Incubators intrigue me:/, do you have to turn the eggs four times a day if you would have one that doesn't automatically do it? If you are just starting out in the chicken business, what would you suggest you get to hatch your first eggs with? I know they have the one for kids, but they only hold 3 eggs and you would be a long time getting any size flock going, plus much as you love the little fuzz bugs, you still would be taking care of various size chicks for several weeks. I don't mind that, but keeping them happy with heat and light would be a problem? Just wondering!!
Noo! Stop tempting me! Here we are with the bator just about ready and our own chickens laying constant fertile eggs, and I'm TRYING to stay calm and not beg my dad to start hatching a little early....but now these cute, fuzzy, adorable pictures of baby chicks show up and all these people hatching chicks and all!!!!
Thanks a lot!!!!
LOL just joking!
But it's VERY tempting when we have an incubator right at our finger tips and eggs ready!
March is just in....3 months about! We should be hatching around there, but mostly during Summer time(after June. a.k.a after school!)
CAN'T WAIT!!!
Those chicks are sooo cute! We have 2 buffs that are all grown up now. so friendly! I love buff orpingtons.
thanks for sharing and have fun with those fluffy butts!
