Buff pullet with grey underfluff

This buff pullet has grey underfluff. What gene causes this? She has a little black on some of her tail and wing feathers, as well.

Could I use her in a satin Mille fleur project?

So buff has some very specific genes that are needed to create a fully yellow bird, and even then, they might have some black.
Buffs have e^wh/e^whCo/CoDb/DbCb/CbMh/MhDi/Di
Your hen could be heterozygous for e^wh, Co, or Db or missing those alleles entirely.
Therefore, your hen is a black tailed buff rather than a true buff.
