I have a Buff Orpington rooster that is a little over 26 weeks. We have a little toy poodle dog that is about the same size of the rooster, so the rooster sees him as a threat and goes after my dog. Along with that, we have too many roosters. My rooster doesn't have spurs yet, and he doesn't attack me or my family (we don't have any small children, so I'm not sure how he would act around them). He is also the dominate rooster of the flock. I think, in my opinion, that he is pretty, and he is healthy too. If you want a rooster that will protect your flock from small predators, about the size of my little dog, then this is a good rooster to have!
I live in Missouri, so if you are interested, please get in touch! I raised this guy from a little chick, so I want him to go to a good home!
